The inside of the lid bears the personal dedication "Sr. Don Lorenzo Rosado Castro," referencing the humidor's original owner. While it is no longer possible to determine with certainty whether he was a distinguished cigar aficionado, collector, or merchant, this personal dedication lends the humidor a distinctive character, making it a unique historical artifact.
The inner lid also features the historic Romeo y Julieta Habana brand logo and the inscription "Cabinet Romeo y Julieta – Habana – Cedros de Luxe No. 1." The Cedros de Luxe No. 1 is one of the brand's traditional vitolas (sizes), renowned for cigars wrapped in fine cedar wood.
The humidor’s construction is equally exceptional. In addition to the upward-opening lid, it features two curved, side-opening wing doors that reveal the artfully designed interior. Inside, there are custom-made wooden inserts with circular cutouts, allowing the cigars to be stored upright while being impressively displayed.
