Xikar aluminum holder 2-pack for 60 gram Boveda
The practical metal holder is specially designed for 60 gram Boveda humidifier packs. It allows space-saving and flexible attachment of the humidification element in the humidor, for example in the lid or on the back walls.
Easy to use
Simply remove the cellophane from your Boveda pack, place it in the holder and your Boveda is ready for use.
Space-saving installation
The holder allows optimal placement of the humidification element without taking up valuable space in the humidor. The holder even fits two Boveda packets of 60 grams each.
Strong magnetic attachment
The holder comes with a strong metal plate and magnetic plate as a counterpart, which are equipped with a removable adhesive surface. This means that the holder can be permanently attached, while the magnetic plate itself remains flexible. This makes it easy to remove old, dried-out Bovedas and insert new ones. Alternatively, the manufacturer also includes a Velcro strip with an adhesive surface as an alternative fastening option.

29 May 2025The system's principle is good. It releases humidity well and consistently. One major criticism is the included adhesive pad. It is not strong enough to hold the weight of the aluminum holder, so if additional Boveda packs are added, either the holder falls off or the adhesive loses its grip. I glued the pack to the lid. I fixed it with Tesa Power Glue. Now it's holding. If you don't regularly check the humidor, it becomes difficult when the pack falls onto the cigars. There's a risk of mould growth due to too much contact with the Boveda pack. I'm deducting one star for falling off, one star for the poor adhesive pads, and one star because I had to rework the entire system.
